Tomorrow is the first day of 2007.  Let us all hope that the great divide in philosophy and attitude regarding many of major issues of the day can evolve into more unified positions which take on a more purple hue during the next year.  Let us hope that a more rational thought process will be used by our political leaders when they make policy that impacts all of us.

We encourage all Americans to support the Iraq Study Group's recommendations regarding the War in Iraq.  This group of outstanding American leaders have come together to create a "purple" approach to resolving the situation in Iraq in a constructive manner.

We encourage the Bush administration to fully embrace the work of the Iraq Study Group and begin the process of unifying our nation's attitudes and approach toward the conflict in Iraq and the Middle East.
