Prehistory – exploring the evidence of civilizations that precede the oldest recognized civilizations on the planet by the general academic community and attempting to determine what happened to them.

                Ancient Aliens – evidence of extraterrestrials visiting the planet earth during ancient history and determining their impact on humanity.

                Modern Day Extraterrestrials – evaluating the evidence and impact of extraterrestrials visiting earth in the current era.  This also includes government secrecy and covert programs and all other related topics in the modern era.

                Exploration of the Mind – exploring the human consciousness and its interrelationships to all the topics noted above.  One can view the first three topics as explorations of events that occurred at different times in the history of the earth. The common element that runs through all of the them is the exploration of the mind and the effort to determine what is human consciousness (spirit, soul, and mind).  It is a critical element in the effort to answer the fundamental questions of human existence: How did we get here? What is our purpose while we here? What will happen to us in the future?

Contact provided over 100 unique events over four days from which the attendees could choose to explore specific aspects of the four broad areas noted above.  Some of the events overlapped multiple subject areas.  I attended 22 of the events, most of these in their entirety.  I averaged over 12 hours per day on site for the four day period.  Needless to say I was fully saturated with information by the end of Contact.

Many of the presenters are authors and I have reviewed some of their books on this web site.  Notable Contact presenters that I have listed in my website library include Dr. Steven Greer, Graham Hancock, David Wilcock, Erich Von Daniken, Richard Dolan, and Robert Bauval.  There were many other well known (within the community with great interest in the subject matter) presenters participating in Contact.  It was an all-star team of experts.

I also had the opportunity to talk to a number of attendees.  I met a lady lawyer from Colorado that explained to me that she is a psychic and has had the capability since she was a young girl.  She felt comfortable among the Contact attendees because nobody attending would “judge” her.  I met a couple that showed me three sets of their personal photos of ETs they had on their smart phones.  One set was taken from a hotel room in San, Juan Puerto Rico.  Another set showed a classic disk shaped craft over their home in Las Vegas.  I had a chance to briefly talk to Laura Eisenhower, great-granddaughter of President Eisenhower soon after I had watched Ms. Eisenhower give a very emotional talk during a panel.  During the panel she described part of her personal story in dealing with the military industrial complex and the “secret space program”.  I asked her if she would be publishing a book of her life story and she said she was working on it.

After four days, 22 events, an Event Under the Stars with Dr. Greer, and discussions with people I had never met before, what was my bottom line evaluation about what I learned at Contact when added to my prior knowledge of these subjects?  After Dr. Greer’s seminar at Contact I purchased his new book, Unacknowledged – An Expose of World’s Greatest Secret.  I decided not to answer my question until I finished reading the book, now completed.  There is extremely solid evidence that ETs have visited the planet earth in recent decades.  It is likely that ETs have been visiting earth for millennia  There is extremely solid evidence that the US and other governments have suppressed information about ETs that should be available to everyone in the world.  It is highly likely that the US and other governments are holding back technology from the general public that could make the world a much better place for all of us that live on planet earth.  It is highly likely that we aren’t close to fully understanding the history of humans on our planet.

My bottom line answers about Contact are general in nature.  There is a lot of hard evidence to document many of the claims made by many of the speakers. Some people made claims at Contact with no evidence to back it up.  These are interesting stories but claims without evidence are meaningless.  However, some people made claims at Contact with evidence that was not presented at events I attended, but have been presented and documented elsewhere.  My personal knowledge of their work is incomplete.  I don’t even want to begin to address the many issues related to consciousness.  If anyone wants to truly investigate this type of subject matter one must eventually fully investigate consciousness.

I wish I could say that I have personal direct knowledge of the issues that I have discussed in this article but I don’t.  I have never seen an ET craft to my knowledge.  I have never met an ET life form.  I don’t have any government documents in my hands that prove the government is doing anything illegal or misguided.  All the information I have is provided by others.  So one has to be careful and attempt to find those with direct knowledge and information that one can trust.  That is what I have attempted to do and will continue to attempt to do until I can make unequivocal statements based on my own experiences.
